Fungai Makani, General Manager

Fungai Makani, hotelier by profession, holds a diploma in Hotel Management from The Bulawayo Hotel School where he graduated in 1990. Immediately after college he joined Zimbabwe Sun Hotels as a trainee manager, where he swiftly rose through the ranks. His first hotel as a fully-fledged General Manager was Hwange Safari Lodge. Thereafter, he managed The Kingdom at Victoria Falls and The Victoria Falls Hotel. In 2007 Fungai moved to Botswana to manage the Cresta President Hotel in Gaborone, before finally joining the Leopard Rock Hotel as general manager in 2010.
